Molded in black crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE), it resists stress cracking and impact better than standard HDPE. Engineered with a 1.9 specific gravity structural rating, the wall is built for contents heavier than water... filled with water the tank holds roughly 1,668 pounds; its design ceiling is about 3,169 pounds.
