The Norwesco low-profile two-compartment septic tank brings a 1000 gallon working capacity in a shell just 51" tall by 60" wide by 127" long... a footprint designed to drop into a shallower excavation than a tall vertical tank. Built for two-compartment service, the first chamber lets heavier solids settle before clearer effluent moves to the second chamber and out. This green polyethylene tank has a 20" lid for access and pumping. Filled to capacity it weighs about 8,340 lb — size excavation, bedding, and anti-flotation backfill for that loaded weight.
