When a tank sits on a frame or foundation, the cradle takes the tank's shape and spreads weight across a stable footprint instead of letting the shell bear on a hard edge. It measures 68 inches long by 34 inches wide by 32 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds empty. Plan for the load: a 500-gallon water tank holds over 4,100 pounds of water alone...
