This is the official product video for the Norwesco Septic adapter SCH40 with nut & EPDM gasket. Full specifications, dimensions, and live pricing are on the product page.
In the dark junction where pipe meets tank... a single small part decides whether a system seals or seeps. The Norwesco septic adapter with SCH40 threading... supplied with a threaded retaining nut and an EPDM compression gasket... creates a gasketed pipe penetration for SCH40 plumbing. The EPDM gasket does the sealing; the nut locks the assembly in place. It weighs just 4 lb and arrives in a compact 8" x 8" x 10" package... but it does real work at the connection point. The most common failure is an unsealed or improvised penetration—this gasketed mechanical adapter is the correct approach. Tighten the nut evenly... avoid over-torquing that can distort the gasket.
