Snyder molds this tower from white polyethylene to the ASTM D1998 standard, with graduated wall thickness that is thickest at the base where hydrostatic head is greatest. The shell carries a 1.5 specific gravity rating... For plain water at 8.34 lb/gal, a full tank carries 62,550 lb, and the 1.5 rating engineers a 93,825 lb rated load.
