Molded-in black resin blocks light to discourage algae growth, making it practical for stored water and rainwater. Full of water it carries about 1,084 pounds. Rated to 1.5 specific gravity, it can hold roughly 1,626 pounds at maximum rated density, with a 3.67 square-foot base producing roughly 440 pounds per square foot at full rated load.
