Behold the Chem-Tainer 275 gallon open-top batch storage tank... a cylindrical polyethylene tank, molded in natural white, standing 48 inches tall on a 42-inch diameter base. The open top gives overhead access for batching, mixing and water storage when a closed vertical would block paddles, pumps, hoses, or hand-loading. A full load of water weighs roughly 2,294 pounds. This tank is rated to hold up to 1.9 times the weight of water, with a maximum rated contents weight of about 4,358 pounds... It ships with no fittings; outlets and bulkhead fittings are added in the field. An open top transfers load straight down through the base, so site it on a flat, supported surface.
