At 55 inches tall on a 48 x 48 inch footprint, its shell is structurally engineered with headroom over a standard 1.0 or 1.5 SG water tank of the same size. Filled with water it holds about 2,752 pounds... at its 1.9 SG rating the shell is engineered to carry roughly 5,229 pounds at full capacity. The black shell blocks light to limit algae.
