The Snyder Industries 300-gallon polyethylene vertical tank, built to ASTM standards, compresses 300 gallons into a compact vertical package — 51 inches tall on a 46 by 46 inch footprint. Its black polyethylene wall blocks light to slow algae growth, designed for outdoor, non-potable storage: rainwater capture, supplemental reserve, general bulk holding. When filled with water it carries about 2,502 pounds of contents... so the pad beneath must be level and fully supported across the entire base. Engineered with a 1.9 specific-gravity rating, the walls hold liquids up to 1.9 times the weight of water.
