Molded in crosslinked linear polyethylene (XLPE) and rated to a 1.5 specific gravity, it rises 215 in (17.9 ft) on a 120 x 120 inch footprint... delivering a 9,500-gallon working column for bulk water, fire-reserve, or process holding. XLPE is the tougher polyethylene for high-column loads; the crosslinked wall carries a nearly 18-foot hydrostatic head without the wall stress a linear tank would face. Full of water the contents load is 79,230 pounds; the 1.5 rating corresponds to 118,845 pounds — not an invitation to store 1.5-SG liquids.
