With a 1.9 specific gravity rating it carries contents denser than plain water. Filled with water it holds roughly 9,174 pounds; at full 1.9 SG it is built for about 17,431 pounds. Black polyethylene blocks UV and light, keeping water dark and stable. On its 86 by 86 inch footprint it requires a level, continuously supported base. Fittings include a flange, a 9 inch by 9 inch flat fitting pad, an 18 inch threaded and vented fitting, and a manway with 15 inch access.
