Its crosslinked wall carries a 1.5 specific gravity rating—the ceiling for this tank—producing about 30,441 pounds when filled with plain water, and up to 45,662 pounds at 1.5 SG. Black XLPE blocks light to limit algae growth; the crosslinked wall resists environmental stress cracking better than a comparable non-crosslinked linear polyethylene tank.
