Design
- Wide-mouth opening engineered for spoon, scoop, or trowel access during use
- Continuous-thread (CT) closure interface sized to the finish standard (e.g., 58-400, 70-400, 89-400)
- Straight-sided or rounded sidewall geometry — straight-sided supports vertical labeling, rounded supports curved labeling
- One-piece molded construction with no seam at the body-to-neck transition
- Available in clear, frosted, or pigmented variants for retail-shelf presentation
- Type III Soda-Lime Silica Glass — meets USP <660> Glass Containers standard for pharmaceutical primary packaging at non-parenteral grade. Lower hydrolytic resistance than Type I borosilicate (USP <660> grade I). Inert to most chemistries; autoclavable.
Use & handling
Hot-fill capable variants exist for polypropylene and PET — verify the specific resin grade with the OEM before hot-fill operations. Cold-fill is standard for HDPE/LDPE and most cosmetic applications. Closures torqued to spec per finish standard. Tamper-evident inner seals (induction or pressure-sensitive) for retail integrity.
