Low Profile Hauling and Storage Tanks
Low profile tanks are long, low and rectangular. That shape keeps the center of gravity down, so they ride steady on a flatbed truck or trailer when you're hauling water, and they fit where a vertical tank won't: under decks, in crawl spaces, in barns and under cabins. Every tank in this category is a Norwesco low profile tank, from a 305 gallon pickup truck tank up to a 2,400 gallon hauling tank.

Built for water
Rotationally molded in one piece from FDA-compliant, UV-stabilized polyethylene, so they can store and transport drinking water and hold up outdoors. Each tank has a vented manway on top and an outlet fitting for draining or plumbing to a pump. Check each product's specifications for its exact fittings and size.
Hauling and installation tips
- Check your weight. Water weighs about 8.3 lb per gallon. A full 1,500 gallon tank carries about 12,500 lb of water, so use a truck or trailer rated for the load.
- Strap it down with heavy-duty straps before you move.
- Support the whole bottom on a flat, solid surface, whether hauling or stationary.
- Above ground only. Low profile tanks aren't made to be buried.
