One Source Plastics carries tanks from nine manufacturers — Norwesco, Snyder Industries, Enduraplas, Chem-Tainer, Bushman, Cortina, Ronco Plastics, Dura-Cast and Todd Marine — and we are an authorized distributor for Norwesco, Snyder, Chem-Tainer, Enduraplas and Bushman. We do not private-label anyone else’s tank: the maker is named on every product page, the drawing comes from that maker, and freight is rated from that maker’s actual plant.
These lines are not interchangeable. They differ in resin, in the sizes they will build, and — the part almost nobody tells you — in where the tank physically ships from, which is usually the largest single variable in what a tank costs you.
Norwesco (1,050 products, 10–20,000 gal, HDPE) is the default for potable water and general storage, with a 12-state plant network — the widest we carry, so there is almost always a plant near your ZIP. Snyder Industries (1,772 products, 15–16,500 gal) is our deepest catalog and the one to reach for on chemical duty, building in crosslinked polyethylene as well as HDPE from plants in AR, CA, NE, OH and WV. Enduraplas (771 products, 25–10,000 gal) covers agriculture and transport — sprayer, nurse and pickup tanks plus assembled spray trailers — from two plants (ND, TX). Chem-Tainer (622 products, 55–5,000 gal) is the small-and-mid-size specialist, with more of its catalog under 500 gallons than any other line we carry and polypropylene as a routine option. Bushman (271 products, 60–5,050 gal) is rainwater harvesting and slimline storage, with CA, TX, UT and WA plants that make it the freight-efficient pick across the West.
Ronco Plastics (178 products, Tustin, California) covers what the big rotomolders skip: RV fresh-water and holding tanks, GMC and boat tanks, dual-containment, plating and auto-detail tanks — shapes measured to fit a cavity rather than sold by round gallon. Dura-Cast (46 products, 55–250 gal, Lake Wales, Florida) builds small-format working tanks for livestock, citrus, aquaculture and cooking-oil recovery. Todd Marine (20 products, West Babylon, New York) is a tight, genuine marine line. Cortina (1,034 products, Illinois) is not a tank line at all — it is our work-zone and traffic-safety catalog: barricades, drums, cones, delineators and channelizers.
Resin decides the tank before the gallon count does. HDPE is the standard for water and most general storage and can be repaired. Crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) is cured into a single molecular network — far more resistant to aggressive chemistry, stress cracking and higher specific gravity contents — but it cannot be welded or repaired once molded. If you are storing anything other than water, start with the resin.
Why the manufacturer changes your freight bill. Tanks are light and enormous, so LTL prices them on space, not weight, which makes plant distance the dominant cost. The same tank from a plant two states away and from across the country is the same tank at very different landed cost — which is why the brand that is cheapest for you in Nevada is often not the one that is cheapest in Georgia. Listed prices on this site are the tank; LTL freight is quoted separately to your ZIP with the freight estimator, or call 866-418-1777.
