The 1 gal Clear Glass Growlers (White PP Cap) - CJUG (MPN CJUG) is a handled Type III soda-lime silica glass container designed for sites where bulk-liquid handling requires a portable, pourable, and stackable vessel.
Design
- Integrated handle molded into the body for one-handed pour at the 1-to-5-gallon scale
- Threaded neck finish for closure attachment — typically 38-400 or 63-485 size standards
- Self-supporting flat or beveled base for stable shelf and floor placement
- One-piece molded construction with no welded seam at the handle-to-body transition
- UV-stabilized resin variants available for outdoor and direct-sunlight applications
- Type III Soda-Lime Silica Glass — meets USP <660> Glass Containers standard for pharmaceutical primary packaging at non-parenteral grade. Lower hydrolytic resistance than Type I borosilicate (USP <660> grade I). Inert to most chemistries; autoclavable.
Use & handling
Fill at gravity or pump rate per the operation's fill-line configuration. Cap to specified torque (typically 35-55 in-lb for jug-size CT finishes). For bulk-chemical service, verify resin compatibility against the OEM chemical-resistance chart. Store with handle facing outward for warehouse access; stack per the OEM's rated stack height (typically 2-3 high empty, 1-2 high filled).
