This tank measures 90 inches tall with a 63-inch diameter, requiring 21.6 square feet of level ground. Empty weight is 165 pounds. At full capacity with a 1.0 SG liquid, expect approximately 9,756 pounds on the foundation. Requires a reinforced concrete pad designed for the full loaded weight, with at least 6 inches of compacted gravel sub-base. Install on a level, compacted surface. Ensure adequate clearance above for lid access and around the perimeter for plumbing connections and visual inspection.
Factory-installed fittings include a 1" PP Female NPT Bulkhead Fitting w/ Plug; 1" PP Female NPT Bulkhead Fitting w/ Plug outlet and a 3" Tank Overflow Kit inlet, both with NPT threading for direct connection to standard schedule 40 or schedule 80 PVC, polypropylene, or stainless steel plumbing. The 16" Threaded Vented Manway w/ Strainer Basket lid opening provides ample access for interior inspection, cleaning, and installation of float switches, level sensors, or submersible pumps. Use schedule 80 PVC or stainless steel bulkhead fittings on the 1" NPT connections. Install a full-port ball valve and consider a Y-strainer to protect downstream equipment.
