This tank measures 66 inches tall with a 28-inch diameter, requiring 4.3 square feet of level ground. Empty weight is 56 pounds. At full capacity with a 1.0 SG liquid, expect approximately 1,390 pounds on the foundation. Set on a flat, level pad of compacted gravel or a concrete slab at least 4 inches thick. Place on a firm, level surface free of rocks or sharp objects that could damage the tank bottom. Ensure adequate ventilation if stored chemicals produce vapors.
Comes equipped with a 1-1/2" PP Female NPT Bulkhead Fitting NPT outlet fitting installed at the factory. No inlet fitting is included — drill and install a bulkhead fitting at your preferred height for your specific plumbing layout. The 8" Threaded Vented Lid lid accommodates fill lines, vent connections, and basic interior access for inspection. We recommend schedule 80 PVC or polypropylene fittings on the 1" NPT outlet with a ball valve for positive shutoff.
