65-gallon natural white storage tank built for heavy-duty industrial chemical containment. Manufactured by Snyder from virgin linear polyethylene (HDPE) rated to handle liquids up to 15.8 pounds per gallon. Dual FDA and NSF 61 certified — one of the few tanks approved for both potable water and food-grade liquid storage.

The 65 Gallon Heavy Duty Vertical Storage Tank is designed for homeowners, hobbyists, small farms, and mobile applications where compact size matters. At 65 gallons, this is the kind of tank you keep close at hand — on the workbench, mounted to equipment, or tucked in a utility closet. It is compact enough to place anywhere but built to the same standards as tanks ten times its size.

Constructed from virgin linear polyethylene (HDPE) using a single-piece rotational molding process that eliminates seams, weld lines, and potential leak points. The 1.9 specific gravity rating means this tank is built with significantly heavier wall sections than a standard water tank — necessary to safely contain liquids weighing up to 15.8 pounds per gallon. That extra wall thickness is not optional when you are storing aggressive industrial chemicals. Translucent white walls allow visual level monitoring without opening the tank and reflect sunlight to keep contents cooler. Maximum operating temperature is 120° F / 48° C, with UV stabilizers compounded directly into the resin for outdoor service life.

This tank measures 46 inches tall with a 24-inch diameter, requiring 3.1 square feet of level ground. Empty weight is 85 pounds. At full capacity with a 1.9 SG liquid, expect approximately 1,115 pounds on the foundation. Set on a flat, level pad of compacted gravel or a concrete slab at least 4 inches thick. Place on a firm, level surface free of rocks or sharp objects that could damage the tank bottom. Ensure adequate ventilation if stored chemicals produce vapors.

Comes equipped with a 3/4" PP Female NPT Bulkhead Fitting NPT outlet fitting installed at the factory. No inlet fitting is included — drill and install a bulkhead fitting at your preferred height for your specific plumbing layout. The 8" Threaded Vented Lid lid accommodates fill lines, vent connections, and basic interior access for inspection. Standard garden hose adapter or direct NPT connection works well for tanks this size.

Snyder Industries has been a leader in polyethylene tank manufacturing for over 60 years. Their Lincoln, Nebraska facility produces tanks using advanced rotational molding processes with rigorous quality control at every step. Backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty from Snyder against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. FDA approved for contact with potable water and food-grade liquids. NSF/ANSI 61 certified for potable water system components. Every tank is inspected before it leaves the production floor — and we inspect it again before it ships from our facility.
