On a tank this size the open top is usually the working end - dip tubes, agitators, bucket fills - so a removable cover, rather than a fixed lid, is the right hardware. Molded polyethylene will not rust around the rim, will not warp in the sun, and rinses clean with the same hose that washes down the tank.
