LED against incandescent is a total-cost decision

Barricade lights (8 items) mount to a barricade rail or drum, amber, bi-directional, in incandescent or LED. Incandescent units are cheaper to buy and you will re-lamp them. LED units cost more up front and generally win on any long-duration setup — the Sundowner LED runs on rechargeable batteries rated around 20,000 hours of service. If a light will sit on a six-month closure, buy the LED; if it is for a two-day utility cut and will probably be stolen, do not.

Photocells save a second site visit

Units with a photocell switch on at dusk by themselves. On a spread-out closure that removes an evening drive-round whose only purpose is turning lights on — worth more than the price difference on almost any municipal job.

Order the mounting hardware

Barricade light bolts and the wrench/switch tool are separate part numbers. A light without its bolt will not attach to a rail, and a crew standing at a barricade holding an unmountable light is an avoidable phone call. Warning lights (8 items) are the standalone units for the same duty.
