Underground Water Tanks
Our below ground cistern tanks are specifically engineered for bulk storage and collection of fresh potable drinking water, designed exclusively for underground installations to keep water safe, cool, and out of sight. These tanks provide a discreet, space-efficient solution for reliable long-term water storage without occupying valuable surface area.Manufactured from high-density polyethylene with integrated UV inhibitors, they offer exceptional durability and resistance to environmental degradation. Crafted using virgin polyethylene resin that fully complies with U.S. FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (1) 3.1 and 3.2 (and 21 CFR 177.150(c) 3.1 and 3.2 where noted), these tanks are food-grade and completely safe for storing potable drinking water for human consumption.Their lightweight design makes installation significantly easier compared to concrete or steel alternatives—requiring less heavy equipment and labor while still providing robust performance once properly backfilled and supported.Common uses include:
- Residential homes and cottages
- Campgrounds and RV parks
- Irrigation storage systems
- Rainwater collection and harvesting
- Fire suppression reserves
- Emergency water supply
- And more off-grid or rural applications
