The BOAT47W lands on a useful in-between: 46 gallons in a 36 x 23 x 13 inch block - bigger than the weekender sizes, smaller than the full liveaboard tanks, and dimensioned for the classic 3-foot cavity under a double berth. For a couple cruising a mid-size boat, this is often the tank that makes the water budget stop being a topic of conversation.
It is molded to Ronco's H.D. marine standard, with a wall built for pounding hulls rather than highway miles, in FDA-compliant polyethylene rated for potable supply. Tustin, California production since 1974. Fittings are installed per order - spin-welded or threaded at your marked locations - so print the drawing below, lay out fill, vent, and pickup with the fitting planner on this page, and it arrives ready to connect.
Plan for about 384 lb when full: continuous support under the bottom, a strap over the top, and hose runs that do not stress the fittings. See neighboring sizes in boat tanks, or open the full range at the Ronco Plastics hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
