The F2UNISEAL is Ronco's 2 inch pipe-to-tank uniseal, and 2 inches is where uniseals earn their keep: it is the size of real drain and transfer plumbing, where a threaded bulkhead assembly starts to mean a big hole saw, a large flange, and a backing nut you cannot reach. The uniseal replaces all of that with one rubber grommet - drill, press it in, push the pipe home, done.
The seal works by compression: the grommet grips the pipe on its whole circumference and the tank wall on its whole bore, so vibration and thermal movement tighten it rather than loosening it. On the curved walls and cramped bays typical of the tanks it serves, that is often the only connection style that seats properly at this diameter.
It is matched to the wall sections of Ronco's own moldings, produced in Tustin, California since 1974.
