The molding is light-duty potable polyethylene in translucent natural finish, the standard Ronco recipe for RV fresh water tanks. Translucent walls mean the water line reads from outside the tank, so a flashlight against the sidewall replaces a sender and gauge if you want to keep the system simple. The resin is FDA compliant for drinking water, and Ronco has been molding tanks like this in Tustin, California since 1974, so the tooling is proven rather than experimental.
Fittings are not pre-molded.
