It is a light-duty potable water tank, molded for the drinking water system of a motorhome, trailer, or camper conversion.
Ronco molds it from natural polyethylene that is FDA compliant for fresh water contact, and leaving the resin unpigmented pays off twice: nothing but clean food-grade material touches your water, and the translucent wall shows the level from outside the tank. Rotational molding produces the whole vessel in one seamless piece, with no welds or joints in the shell.
The RVB507 comes out of Ronco Plastics' Tustin, California plant, where rotomolded tanks have been the specialty since 1974. Every order is finished with spin-weld or threaded fittings installed to the customer's specification, Ronco's standard practice, and the drawing (when shown) depicts the blank molding before those fittings are placed.
