Among Ronco's 6 gallon RV fresh water tanks, the RVB285 is the heaviest molding, shipping around 12 pounds, extra wall for a small tank that may get mounted somewhere it takes knocks: a truck camper, an overland rig, a trailer tongue box. It is rated light-duty potable, built to feed the drinking water side of a small RV system.
Like every fresh water tank Ronco molds, it is natural FDA-compliant polyethylene throughout. The unpigmented resin keeps the water-contact surface clean and leaves the wall translucent, so the level of your 6 gallon supply is always visible from outside. Rotational molding forms the shell as a single seamless piece with no joints to seep.
Ronco Plastics builds the RVB285 in Tustin, California, where it has operated since 1974, and installs spin-weld or threaded fittings at the customer's specified locations on every order, standard treatment across the line. Where a drawing appears, it represents the blank molding. OneSource Plastics supplies the RVB285 as an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
