At 8.25 inches tall, the 14W is a tank you install under things - under a bed platform, under a dinette, under the floor of a van where headroom is measured in fractions. The 24 x 15.5 inch footprint spreads 11 gallons out low and wide, keeping the weight of the water down at floor level where it belongs.
This is the Water / Waste Holding Tank series, Ronco's dual-role molding: specify fresh-water fittings and you get a potable tank in FDA-compliant polyethylene; specify waste fittings and the identical shell serves as a gray tank for the shower or galley drain. Either way it starts life as the same 8 lb blank - light enough to hold overhead with one hand while you check clearances. Full, plan for about 92 lb of water at 8.34 lb per gallon.
