The 38W takes 35 gallons and pulls it long: 45 x 18.5 x 11.25 inches. Under a foot tall and nearly four feet end to end, it is drawn for chassis-rail runs, basement bays, and the space beneath a slide floor - installs where length is free and height is precious. Among Ronco's several 35 gallon moldings, this is the one for the shallow, narrow, long compartment.
The Water / Waste Holding Tank series designation means it is sold as either system's tank. Take fresh-water fittings and it is potable - FDA-compliant polyethylene, drinking-water safe. Take waste fittings and it is a full-size gray or black holding tank in the same envelope, which keeps paired installs mirror-symmetric.
Twenty pounds empty; about 292 lb full at 8.34 lb per gallon of water. A load that long should bear on multiple crossmembers, not two straps in the middle. The other 35 gallon geometries - boxier, flatter, shorter - are in the RV water tanks category, with waste-dedicated shapes under RV holding tanks and the marine family at boat tanks.
