Seated properly, it keeps dust and drift out, slows vapor loss from the small surface, and lets a bench tank hold a prepared solution overnight without the morning starting with a top-up and a re-titration.
Like the tank it fits, the cover comes out of Ronco's Tustin, California plant, molding polyethylene process equipment since 1974, in the same chemically resistant resin family as the tank body.
