It belongs to the Water / Waste Holding Tank series, so the fitting order decides its role. As a fresh tank it is FDA-compliant polyethylene holding a genuine multi-week potable supply. As a waste tank it is the largest-patience holding option in the line. Either way, the 85 lb empty weight tells you the wall was molded for a lifetime of full-load miles.
Respect the full number: about 776 lb of water at 8.34 lb per gallon, spread along more than five feet. Mounting is structural engineering - multiple crossmembers, through-bolts, as low in the chassis as the plumbing allows.
