It is a dual-role molding besides - fresh water or gray/black waste service, decided entirely by the fittings you order.
In fresh service the material is FDA-compliant polyethylene, molded seamless for potable water. Whichever role it plays, it weighs 18 lb empty and about 133 lb full at 8.34 lb per gallon - a load one shelf and two straps handle easily, provided the shelf spans the whole base.
