The B109 answers a simple question: what is the least tank that still does the job? Sixteen gallons of fresh water in a blank weighing 21 lb - light enough to hand up through a hatch, sized for runabouts, small sailboats, and camp rigs where every pound aboard is negotiated. Among Ronco's several 16-gallon marine moldings it is one of the lighter builds, for boats that are kind to their tankage.
Molded seamless in FDA-compliant polyethylene, it is potable-spec for drinking water; order waste fittings instead and the same blank serves as a compact holding tank. Full weight is about 133 lb at 8.34 lb per gallon - modest, but strap it anyway; nothing aboard should trust friction.
Fittings are installed per order at Ronco's Tustin, California plant, rotomolding since 1974: print the drawing below and mark your spin-weld or threaded fitting locations, or use the on-page fitting planner as you order. The other 16-gallon shapes - and everything larger - are in boat tanks and on the Ronco Plastics hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
