Some tanks are containers; the B129 is closer to a casting. Eighteen gallons of marine water capacity in a 79 lb blank - more than four pounds of polyethylene per gallon of capacity, the heaviest build Ronco offers at this size. It is molded for the installs that punish tankage: workboats, hard-run sportfishers, bilge bays that flex and pound in every sea.
The material is FDA-compliant potable polyethylene in fresh service, seamless with no liner to delaminate; ordered with waste fittings, the same blank becomes an 18-gallon holding tank with the same armored wall. Full, it adds about 150 lb of water at 8.34 lb per gallon to that heavy blank - install on structure, always.
Fittings go in per order at the Tustin, California plant, as they have since 1974: print the drawing below and mark your spin-weld or threaded fitting locations, or set them on the on-page fitting planner. Weight like this is worth a shipping check first - run the freight cost estimator against your ZIP. Lighter 18-gallon options are in boat tanks; the whole line is on the Ronco Plastics hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
