The B144 is a 13 gallon marine molding that Ronco builds as a dual-role blank. Order it with fresh-water fittings and it becomes a potable supply tank in FDA-compliant polyethylene; order it as a holding tank and the identical shell takes gray or black waste duty instead. One tool, two jobs - you choose which at order time, and the tank arrives set up for exactly one of them.
Thirteen gallons is day-sailer and weekender scale: full of fresh water it carries about 108 lb, which is enough to matter for trim, so mount it low and near the centerline where that mass helps rather than hurts. The blank itself ships at just 17 lb, light enough to dry-fit single-handed while you work out hose runs.
Every fitting is installed per order at the Tustin, California plant Ronco has run since 1974 - spin-welded or threaded to the marks you give them.
