Twenty-six gallons is an honest mid-size for a cruising sailboat or a trailer boat that spends whole days out: enough fresh water to stop counting cups, small enough that the boat does not notice the tank until you need it. The Ronco Plastics B145 fills that slot. It is a one-piece polyethylene molding - FDA compliant for potable water - from the Tustin, California factory that has been making marine tanks since 1974.
No two boats plumb alike, so the B145 is finished to order: Ronco spin-welds or threads the fittings at the positions you specify. The dimensioned drawing below is the worksheet - print it, mark the fill, vent, and pickup where your hoses actually route, then enter the plan in the fitting planner on this page. What arrives is a tank that installs instead of a project that starts with a hole saw.
It ships at 86 lb, and full it carries about 217 lb of water on top of that shell - 8.34 lb per gallon is the number that sizes your shelf and straps. Mount it low and central where the weight helps trim rather than fights it. Related sizes live under boat tanks, the whole catalog is at the Ronco Plastics hub, and shipping to your ZIP is quoted by the freight estimator. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
