The Ronco Plastics B173 is the tank for boats where 15 gallons is the right answer: dinghies with cabins, small sailboats stepping up from carry-on jugs, compact campers that want plumbing without sacrificing storage. At a 21 lb ship weight it is trivially one-handed, and in FDA-compliant polyethylene the water stays clean-tasting through a season of intermittent use - the failure mode of small metal tanks that this material simply does not have.
Ronco finishes even its smallest moldings to order. Fittings are installed per order, spin-welded or threaded at your marked spots, which on a 15 gallon tank means the difference between plumbing that routes cleanly through a tiny compartment and plumbing that fights it. Print the dimensioned drawing below, mark your fill, vent, and pickup, and confirm the plan in the fitting planner on this page.
Full, it carries about 125 lb of water - enough mass to deserve a real strap even in a small hull. The tank comes from Tustin, California, where Ronco has molded marine tanks since 1974. If your space wants a different proportion at this capacity, the boat tanks page lays out the options, the Ronco Plastics hub shows the whole line, and the freight estimator prices shipping to your ZIP. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
