Water is ballast whether you plan it or not. A 30 gallon tank like the B202 carries about 250 lb when full - 8.34 lb per gallon, every gallon - and where that quarter-ton sits changes how the boat trims, how she rolls, and how she feels in a seaway. The smart move is to decide the tank's location around the weight first and the plumbing second, which is exactly the order Ronco's blank-shell system supports.
Because the B202 ships with no fittings installed, you can put the tank where the naval architecture wants it - low and near the centerline - and then bring the fittings to that location rather than the other way around. Print the drawing below, mark the fill, vent, and pickup where your hose runs actually reach, and Ronco spin-welds or thread-installs each one to your marks. The shell is rotomolded FDA-compliant polyethylene, seamless and potable-rated, and it ships at 92 lb. It comes out of the Tustin, California shop that has molded marine tankage since 1974 - long enough to have learned that a tank drawn for a hull beats a box forced into one.
