Nobody sets out to buy a 28 gallon tank. They set out to buy 30, discover the compartment will not take it, resign themselves to 20, and then find that Ronco molds the in-between. The B206 exists because hull cavities do not come in round numbers: it is a marine fresh water tank sized to wring the last usable gallons out of a space that a catalog-standard tank would waste.
Those extra gallons are not academic. Twenty-eight gallons is about 234 lb of water when full at 8.34 lb per gallon - days of additional supply over the size below it, from the same locker. The shell is rotomolded FDA-compliant polyethylene, potable-rated and seamless, and it ships at a manageable 35 lb, light enough to trial-fit solo before committing to the installation.
Fittings are installed per order, not molded in. Print the drawing below, mark your fill, vent, and pickup where the hoses genuinely reach, and the Tustin, California shop - rotomolding marine tanks since 1974 - spin-welds or thread-installs them to your marks. Prefer clicking to sketching? The on-page fitting planner places them just as precisely.
If 28 gallons is still the wrong odd number, the boat tank category is full of others, and the Ronco Plastics hub lists every molding the shop makes. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
