Every tank in a boat is a compromise between the water you want and the space you have. The B214 is where those lines cross for a lot of small cruisers: 18 gallons of fresh capacity - about 150 lb of water when full, at 8.34 lb per gallon - in a molding shaped for the real, awkward volumes left over after the builder placed the engine, the batteries, and the bunks.
It is rotomolded FDA-compliant polyethylene, potable-rated and seamless, and it ships at 81 lb with no fittings installed. Ronco's system puts the penetrations where your boat needs them: print the drawing below, mark the fill where your deck plate drops, the vent where it can run high, the pickup at the installed low corner, and the shop spin-welds or thread-installs each one to those marks. The on-page fitting planner captures the same layout with clicks.
One practical note that outlasts the install: mount the tank so you can reach the fittings afterward. Hose clamps and senders are service items, and the tank will outlive several of them - Ronco has been molding these in Tustin, California since 1974, and plenty of first-generation tanks are still in service under floors their owners have long since recarpeted.
