The Ronco Plastics B317 is a 45-gallon marine fresh water tank in a long, low-slung molding built to follow a hull run - the format for sailboats and cruisers whose usable space is a shallow corridor rather than a box. The shell is heavily built at 96 lb, stiff enough to span imperfect support without oil-canning; filled, it adds about 375 lb of water, laid flat where the boat carries weight best.
Fittings are the build-to-order half of every Ronco tank. Spin-weld or threaded, each fill, outlet and vent is installed at the position you mark - so the pickup lands at your true low point and the vent climbs from the high end, not from wherever a factory template put it. Print the drawing below, mark the ports against your actual installation, and run the layout through the on-page fitting planner before ordering. FDA-grade polyethylene keeps all 45 gallons potable.
Molded by Ronco Plastics in Tustin, California - at this work since 1974 - the B317 runs mid-pack in the long-format section of our boat tanks. The full Ronco Plastics catalog holds the shorter, taller 45-gallon alternatives if your space bends differently. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
