Nine gallons will not cross an ocean, but it will run a galley faucet for a week of coffee and dishes, feed a cockpit washdown, or give a small sailboat its first pressurized water system. The B336 is Ronco's little marine blank for exactly those jobs: 14 lb empty, small enough to carry aboard in one hand and fit into the leftover corner of a locker that no production tank was ever going to claim.
It ships without fittings, which on a tank this small is a genuine advantage - in tight quarters, half an inch of port placement decides whether a hose makes its bend. Print the drawing below, mark your fitting locations with the on-page planner, and Ronco spin-welds or thread-installs them to your spec in Tustin, California, the same build-to-order process they have run since 1974. For drinking water the polyethylene is FDA-compliant and potable-safe; and since every B-series shell is dual-role, the same blank can be fitted instead as a compact gray water catch tank.
Even small tanks deserve arithmetic: full, this one weighs about 75 lb, so strap it like you mean it. If 9 gallons is close but not right, the small end of the boat tank category is dense with alternatives, and camper-van builders will find kindred sizes under RV water tanks.
