Twenty-one gallons, 83 lb of molding: the Ronco Plastics B396 packs an unusual amount of wall into a mid-small B-series tank. This is the shell you choose when the tank will live somewhere punishing, an open boat that slams or a work rig on washboard roads. Like all B-series moldings it is dual-role; the food-grade polyethylene becomes a potable fresh water tank or a gray or black waste holding tank according to the fittings you order.
Water load stays moderate at about 175 lb full, figured at 8.34 lb per gallon, so the heavy wall is protection rather than necessity.
