Nineteen gallons hits a sweet spot for cuddy cabins and pocket cruisers: enough fresh water for a weekend of dishes, drinking, and a rinse-down, in a molding that still fits boats measured in feet you can count on your fingers. The B447 delivers it in a stout shell that ships at 75 lb - Ronco does not build its small tanks light.
As with the whole marine B-series, the B447 is a dual-role molding: it becomes a potable water tank or a gray/black waste holding tank depending on which fittings you order and where you put them. Print the drawing below, mark your inlet, outlet, and vent against the plumbing you actually have, and Ronco spin-welds or thread-installs to the marks. The on-page fitting planner turns hose sizes into fitting picks.
Full, it carries about 158 lb of water. Every one is rotomolded in Tustin, California, where Ronco has specialized since 1974. There is a lighter-shelled 19 gallon in the series and several near neighbors - compare them in the boat tank category or from the Ronco Plastics hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
