Because the B-series is a dual-role molding, the same shell serves as a fresh water tank or a gray or black waste holding tank depending on the fittings you specify. Ordered for fresh water duty, the food-contact polyethylene is safe for drinking water storage. Ordered for waste, the identical wall does holding-tank work without complaint. Full of water it carries about 292 lb, at 8.34 lb per gallon, so plan your stringers and strapping accordingly.
