The Ronco Plastics B472 is a 54 gallon commitment to flexibility. Molded as a blank B-series shell, it leaves the Tustin, California plant as either a fresh water tank or a waste holding tank, and the deciding vote is cast by you, on the order form, through your choice of fittings.
Fifty-four gallons is enough fresh water to run a cruising couple for a serious stretch, and enough holding capacity to keep a well-used head civilized between pump-outs. In fresh water service, the polyethylene is food-grade and potable-safe. In waste service, the same one-piece rotomolded wall does the ugly work without seams to fail.
Full, the B472 holds about 450 lb of water at 8.34 lb per gallon on top of its 100 lb empty weight, so the platform under it deserves real fastening.
