The Ronco Plastics B486 is an 18 gallon dual-role tank with a noticeably stout 43 lb build, more wall than its capacity strictly requires, which is precisely what you want when the tank lives somewhere that gets stepped on, slid against, or slammed by gear underway.
Like the rest of the marine B-series, it is molded blank and defined by its fittings: a fresh water order produces a potable tank in food-grade polyethylene, a waste order produces a gray or black holding tank. Ronco installs every fitting per order, spin-welded or threaded at your marked positions, so the ports emerge exactly where your hoses run.
Filled, the B486 holds about 150 lb of water at 8.34 lb per gallon. Print the dimensioned drawing below, offer it against your compartment, and translate your marks into the on-page fitting planner to complete the specification.
Molded in Tustin, California, where Ronco Plastics has run its plant since 1974. The lighter 18 gallon holding tank makes an interesting comparison on the waste side, and the boat tank collection covers adjacent capacities; the freight cost estimator answers the shipping question. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
