The B527 is a shallow 18-gallon tray of a tank - just over 34 inches long, roughly 15 inches wide, and only 9.5 inches deep. That last number is the reason it exists. Under a V-berth, under a cockpit sole, in the flat void over a fuel tank: there are spaces on most boats with plenty of area and almost no height, and this molding is drawn for them.
It carries the B-series dual-role design: one blank, two possible tanks. With supply fittings it is a fresh water tank in FDA-approved potable polyethylene; with waste fittings it is a low-profile gray or black holding tank. Ronco installs whichever fittings you order, spin-welded or threaded, at the locations you mark - and on a shallow tank the outlet position matters more than usual, because there is only 9.5 inches of column to drain. Print the drawing below, place the ports with the boat's resting trim in mind, and set the layout in the fitting planner on this page.
It ships at 23 lb and weighs about 150 lb full, spread across a broad footprint - which is easy structural news, since the load per square inch is low. Give the bottom continuous support and it will sit quietly for decades. Molded in Tustin, California; Ronco has been at this since 1974.
More shallow shapes are in the boat tanks and RV holding tanks categories, and the complete line is on the Ronco Plastics hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
