The F12B is Ronco's half-inch bulkhead fitting - the smallest through-wall port in the line, and the right size for the jobs that do not need a big hole: sight-gauge taps, vent lines, sensor and sender mounts, chemical feed points, or a modest gravity drain on a small tank. Small ports keep small problems small; there is no reason to cut a large opening for a quarter-turn valve.
It installs the way every bulkhead fitting does - drill, seat the gasket against the tank wall, tighten the nut for a mechanical watertight seal - and leaves you standard threads on the outside to build from. Being Ronco's own hardware, its flange and gasket are proportioned for the wall thickness of Ronco moldings rather than a guess at the industry average.
