The RVB297 is a 65 gallon light-duty fresh water molding - B-297 L.D. in Ronco's own listing - and at 47 lb shipped it carries nearly ten times its own weight in water. That ratio is the light-duty concept in one number: in the cradle of an RV bay, with the coach structure doing the structural work, tank wall beyond what containment needs is just freight.
Sixty-five gallons runs a couple for most of a week of careful use. The molding is translucent natural polyethylene, FDA approved for potable water, so the level reads through the wall without a sender in the circuit. Ronco installs fittings per order - spin-welded or threaded, at the positions you mark - which means the layout happens on paper first: print the drawing below, offer it against the bay, and fix the port positions in the on-page fitting planner.
The maker has molded these in Tustin, California since 1974, one blank at a time, configured to each order rather than warehoused in a single fixed layout.
The neighboring sizes are in our RV water tank category - see the RV40W for this same capacity in different proportions - and the complete book is on the Ronco Plastics hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
